Goodbye for now

We lost a long term resident of the rescue this afternoon. Why do vets ever think it's ok to say, "it's just a rescue, how much do you want us to do?" As if the fact that it doesn't have a forever family yet makes it any less loved and wanted. All of us at the rescue were her forever family, and we were happy to have her with us. Just give us our options and let us decide what's best for her. Sweet Gimpy girl, you were wanted, you were loved. Within an hour of her passing, Margo, one of our pregnant cats, went into labor. Three so far. Life goes on. But we are forever changed by the innocent spirits who flow through our rescue. ❤️
