My dear sister Megan came up with a fabulous idea for celebrating
Mother's Day. She and her family love Hug Point on the Oregon Coast and
decided to spend the day there! She invited us along. I was so excited
because neither Richard nor my older kids have ever been and getting to spend an entire day with her and her family was just to exciting to turn down. So I told her
we were definitely in! We got up in the morning and headed out. It was
a beautiful day! We explored, ate lunch, relaxed, watched the kids have
hours of fun...it was the perfect day!! We even took Gidget along
since we know our time with her is limited. She liked walking in the
sand and barking at EVERY other dog on the beach. We headed over to the
Tillamook Cheese Factory for ice cream cones before heading home. It was the perfect end to
a perfect day! I just love Megan and her family and am so glad we got
to spend the day together in such a beautiful place!
