Bittersweet Goodbyes

Three of our fosters were adopted tonight at our first adoption event. It's such a bittersweet thing! So happy for them and their new families, but miss their unique little personalities!! Go spread love and joy little ones and know you will always be in our hearts! (Jack-jack, Wisp, and Reina)

Post procedure fun

My cutie pie Annalina had her endoscopy today. The doc came in to talk to us after and she was still out of it. She repeated every word I said to the doctor. I told her she was as talkative as a Siamese cat. She replied, maybe I AM a Siamese cat. She remembers nothing!! Wish she had let me video her!

Home Sweet Homes?

These kittens are ready for their forever homes. They are so sweet, playful and snuggly! They have been fixed and had their first shots. Adoption fee is seventy five. They are located in Rexburg. Come see them, they will win your heart!!

Grateful

Today, a huge group of neighbors and ward members descended on our yard and for five hours we worked on trimming bushes, pulling up weeds, and really just all around beautifying the yard. We can see out the windows now!! I feel truly blessed by all those who helped get our yard ready for winter when I am sure they had plenty of other things they could have been doing. We feel so loved and we know we are exactly where we need to be. It is humbling to accept help on such a grand scale, but we plan to pay it forward every chance we get!

THIS is the moment you start to think, "maybe 5 cats wouldn't be so bad". This is little Wisp, our foster, with Peter Pan, our permakittie. And Pan is usually the last to warm up to the fosters!

Happy Life Willow!

Our sweet female Siamese, Willow, has found her forever home. We'll miss her. This is definitely the hard part of fostering, but her new family is amazing and she will be well loved!

Sweet Annalina

Annalina update: after several painful attempts, the hospital was able to draw her blood. We should have results at her appointment on Monday. She hasn't been to school much this week and missed all the homecoming festivities, but remains her sweet little cat snuggling self! (The cats love having her home so much!) Thanks so much for your prayers and love!

What is wrong??

Annalina is not well and has been suffering from an unspecified illness, off and on, for a while now. It has gotten bad and a trip to the doctor today was very traumatic for her. Her veins didn't cooperate and she was miserable. My poor sweet girl!

New life

Our cute pregnant momma cat Aspen, has delivered! Six tiny bundles of love! Momma is doing well and made it look easy. What an amazing experience for Annalina and I!! Better pics when she has brought them out of the birthing box.

Perfect Matches

We have placed two kittens this week. We put all of our hearts into caring for these sweet babies and it can be sad to send them off into the world. But one of my favorite things is having a family come into our home and watching kitty go from being nervous and unsure, to loving and snuggling with it's new parents. Even better when I check in to see how it's going, and hear how loved kitty is! Melts my heart every time! Fostering is a lot of work, but so worth it! If you're interested, let me know!

Our five smallest kittens came from 3 different litters, yet they get along like siblings(yes, they fight sometimes). It is so fun to watch their silly kitty antics. They are all eating well, using litter and growing like crazy!

Make a Wish

Late night with my cute kiddos. We laid on the lawn watching the Perseid Meteor shower and we talked and laughed until we got cold. Then we enjoyed a cake that Joseph made for the occasion. I am truly blessed to be a mother to four such amazing people!!
